Ok, for those who said they have seizures, which I was surprised at the amount, how many of you have had head trauma that is a factor in your seizures?  I had a subdural hematoma when I was 3 months old and have a ton of scar tissue.  In fact, it always freaks out the person cutting my hair.  Also, my right pupil stays dialated.  That is also the side that I have clusters on, and is also the side that has a "Short circuit" in the EEG tests.

I don' know why it hurts, but I pray it will stop.

You're right that there seem to be a surprising number of epileptics. In my case, even though my father developed seizures during WWII, I think mine is not inherited. My CH developed in 1969 when I was 23. It disappeared in 1991, and other than the very stressful period at the time, I have no idea why I was so lucky.

Makes one wonder about the unusual number of us though. There are some vascular componets with some seizures, I think...Strange though as I had no head trauma.

It is possible.  I can't really remember anything at all before age 5, and I don't communicate with anyone who could tell me.  I was in the hospital as a baby (18 months old) for trauma, but it was all over the body, possibly the head as well (my memories are distant).  I only know about that from seeing pictures of it when I was about 18.

Makes me wonder now about any connection.
