I went to the waffle house last night with Mia and we were talking about clusters. She and I both feel like our head is so heavy at times we need to hold our heads with our hands, or we want someone else to hold it up. I use to wear a neck brace only because my head felt heavy and I needed a something to rest it on and I used the neck brace. Does this happen to any of you?

E, I asked Blake your question. He says no. His more often feels light. He calls it a "medicine head". Jacks

Big time. At the end of an attack I have to surgically remove my chin from my chest.

Jonny - I already knew how your response was going to read - glad you didn't disappoint me LOL LOL As far as the heavy head - it feels as if all of the veins are so swollen from too much meds and my ears are swollen that it's hard to hear....feels like the back of my head and neck are soooo tight that I just can't hold it up any longer. Even laying down doesn't ease that feeling. Very strange feeling. And it usually starts to happen 1/2 way through my cycle (2 months into it) and will last the next 2-3 months. Well there is my 2 cents....... Mia

Yes! Totally! Sometimes feels so heavy that my neck cannot support it! I love reading messages like this because everytime I do it's like "yes! I'm not alone!" .

Yes most definetly. I think it is because I tense up so bad when getting hit. My neck and sholder muscles are tight and shot after a ha. So it is hard for me to hold my head up. If I get a mesage it feels so much better.
