Hello all, It was nice to come across this site. (good info) I'm 34 male, been suffering since I was 22. My first CH happened while drinking a Miller Highlife beer. Thought I got a bad beer. Will never forget that day. My last cycle was 1.5 years ago. Thought I was done with them. Guess what? They came back last July. My normal cycle is 1-2 weeks twice a month. 1 to 6 per day. Often every two hours starting around 11:30 pm. Usally a couple during daylight hours. VERY SEVERE!! Imitrex Injections work great. Same probs as everyone else. - cost, availability, etc. O2 helps a lot also. These last three months have been the worst in my CH career. Thanks for listening - ttyl -

Mojoe, welcome to the board. Lots of good people here to listen and offer advice. Check your post ... did you mean 1-2 weeks twice a month? If you mis-typed this you can modify it. Anyway, welcome, welcome, welcome. Sounds like you have been reading some posts around here !!!

Oh, now I am feeling lucky Mojoe !!!!!! Two weeks on .. two weeks off. The jury is still out on whether my cycle has ended (it was my first) ..... lasted four months ... but I am hoping for a 10 year reprieve !!!!!

mojoe - welcome to the board. Sorry you felt compelled to do so. I hope you're finding the right set of meds. Are you on any preventatives? Verapamil worked for me and is usually the first choice. Hope the beast loses your address PFDANs domm

Welcome to the board! Sorry that the beast is dropping you on your head, from 500 ft in the air, to the bottom of a active volcano with plenty of jagged rocks to crash your cranium into before breaking through the thin crust on the molten lava, and frying your cranium into a crispy critter. Good luck! PFDAN........................ Drk^Angel

This is my first time here too. Have not had what they considered "a migraine" in over 12 years. Have had 2-8 of these a day for 3 1/2 weeks. Have tried Imitrex Nasal (no luck) Injections (fairly good luck) and another pill called (i think) Vomax or something like that. It did NOT work. Now, we are trying Skelaxin Muscle Relaxer w/Imitrex Injections. Not total relief but MUCH better. At least I can work. I take this on top of the meds I take for Neuopathy, Myoclunus and hormones. I am confused about ALL of this headache stuff. If you could help me with any info on this I would appreciate it..
