The archives are a WONDERFUL place to gain knowledge! If you are new here or if you have changed the course of your treatment, I encourage you to use these archives. There is so much knowledge there that can be of benefit to you and others.
I have spent three hours this morning reading past posts about CPH and Topomax and I feel so much more knowledgeable about things and much more comfortable about the treatment that I have chosen.
From reading the archives I am confident that within a few weeks I will regain most of my cognitive capacity (some of it I fear is gone forever lol).
So, for the next few weeks, if I come off sounding like an absolute idiot you will just have to forgive me. It is not my fault, I finally have an excuse for sounding like a total brain fart. lol Woo hoo!
Thanks to you 'Old Timers' for hanging around all this time and accruing all these archives for us. They are appreciated.
One other note:
When a doctor prescribes a med, it is a good idea to check it out and see what the side effects are and educate yourself about how it should be taken. (i.e. whether the dosage should be gradually increased, etc.) Don't expect the doctor to always give you all the information, they may not. You are just as responsible for your care as the doctors are.
