I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped me through this horrible time! Since this was my 1st bout with CH's, I didn't really know what to expect, but I do believe it is over, for now at least. The cycle lasted around 6 weeks. I have no idea what to expect or when to expect them again. I would like to have another child soon, but I'm scared to death to get pg, because I wouldn't be able to try any preventatives! Anyways, thanks to all for your help. I plan on sticking around even though I probably can't offer much help since I'm new to this!!! Michelle

Michelle - glad to hear you are PF. I hope the beast lost your name and address and the post office lost your forwarding address. ;D Stick around and as one of the old timers said "stick an oar in and start rowing" domm

Do some research of old posts. I believe it has been mentioned that pregnancy as well as other stresses to the mind or body can cause a CH cycle to stop or missed. PJB

Have to agree with pjb Michelle, was pregnant 3 times and never had one ch during pregnancy. BUT whoa baby......each time in the hospital after the birth.....and at that time wasn't yet diagnosed or on any meds for ch........IMAGINE THAT....... being IN a hospital and having them give you ONLY some old stupid tylenol. Just endured 2 or 3 nights while in the hospital with the same ch at the same time each night. And then that was about it. Left and didn't return until time for cycle again. Weird stuff....wasn't really a full blown cycle...just after baby effects I guess. Anyway......good luck and hopefully soon we can call you somebody else's mom too!!!!!!!! wishing you pf moments, EDNA

Glad your feeling better and really glad your sticking around. You havew plenty to offer. It only takes one round og these things to know the pain. Moral support is often much more valuable than clinical advice. Besides, your a mom. You know more than God !

Don't let that "Beast" stop you from having more kids... that would be the worst possible sacrifice... Glad you are feeling better... why not try now while you are the furthest away from your next cycle... and have fun trying!!! Life is good when you're pain free... enjoy! Ree

Hey Michelle, Glad you are winding down, just be prepared. Stock your War Chest and get you some "Road Fat" so when the beast returns you will be ready!
