All of us have had these thoughts.. wouldn't it be nice to be able to measure pain in an objective way? We'd finally get some respect/understanding from doctors/peers. Wouldn't it be fun to give a person a sample how CH feels like? Especially to those docs. Reading that hypothalamus-stuff from OUCH got me thinking that perhaps the measuring can be done fairly "soon". The way they can probe/scan brains nowadays is amazing! I can see the list, from "piece of cake" to "bad": 1. 1st degree burn 2. torn muscle 3. broken leg 4. giving birth 5. kip 8 That would be so cool. Too bad that at the time we could actually "record" the pain and "inject" it in others we just might have a "cure" already.
