About a month ago I got a wild hair and decided I just HAD to play in front of people again, Ch be damned. So I contacted a buddy who runs the Festival By the Sea in Holden beach, NC, and he gave me a slot on the marquee. Rounded up some players (my kid's drumming) and so...beware, world...
Mike & the Maulers returns!
Any a' you "head cases" in the area and think you can stand it, come on down. We've got the 4:30 PM slot. Sat. Oct. 26th. Lotsa neat arts & crafts ect and plenty greasy stuff to eat. Sure would like to meet some fellow clusterheads. Who knows, we might just blow that 'ol Beast right outta yer noggin. ;D
Now if I can just keep the sumbitch at bay for another 2 weeks... ???

If I didnt have 10 flights in 15 months under my belt meeting clusterheads id be there Dude.
If you have an abortive that works try taking it 20 mins before you hit the stage and you should be good to kill.
Recording your gig would be a good thing I would love a copy if thats possible, Bro

jonny, you're loging some serious frequent flyer miles. Last flight I took was Miami-to-Atlanta couple years ago. When the L-1011 finally flopped and bounced to a stop, the entire planeload stood up and cheered. Swore I'd never get on another one.  And this was BEFORE 9/11.
We do plan on recording the set. If it turns out decent, you'll get a copy. Anybody shows up, meet me at the Paradise Cafe afterwards.
