Why is it that I expect people that are close ot me to be able to recognize my precursorsn? My do I think jsutbebcause i have been living with soemoen for months that they KNOW mne well enough to be able to tell when my shadow is building anf building anf in my head all i am thinking about is how much the fucking headache is going ton hurt...cursing anfd ptaying in my head for absolutely anythuing but this ch to happen...knowing damn well its gonna happen...being consumed by total fear and striking pain....and yet i dont fucking react as enthusiatically so one fucking little thing as i am supposed to or some fuxcking bullshit and he 'laarnes a real lesson tonigh'...what?? how i am suxch a horroible person? uncaring? selfish?...i think i am more pissed that he....pissed at mysle f for not hiding my pain better...for wanting him to be able to ecignize when i am starting a ch whe n i trymy hardest to hide it from him...mad at myself for not telling him...
totally torn here...do i continue to hide my pain from him and psare him )or at least think i am sparing him) from witnessing me in that amount of pain...or do i tell him when my head hurts? but why?? tere isnt anything he can do? wouldnt it make him just feel more helpless?? i dont know what to do...if the prevenattive he is on stops working..then i will be on the opposite side of this deleima...amnd i dont have a clue what to do on either side
i know this post likely doesnt make any sense ay all....my shadow is vcliminga nd apathy is starting to take over everything that exists outside of my own perosnal hel and yet i still wan to know what to do...hedoesnt want to talk about it...hes too mad or somethign...and it porbably isnt ag odd time to talk about it anyway...i am not thinign startigh...plus i have a tendency to get super crabnky at this point......just wondeirng if you supporter s out there would tell me what you prfere and if you sufferers would tell me how you would handle it...and if anhhyof you know who i am talking about eoith my real anonymous "he; here...pleaew dohntthink that i am saying anything bad about him...just in a sitaution i havent been in before and not sire how to hajndle it...thats all...y6'all k ow that he is a great..sweet..wonderfukl caring person who i love very much,...just a confused at themoengt...thanks adns orry for the typinb errors..shadpow entering scael ...ADIVCE>?

I can't tell from your message if you are the sufferer or the supporter. Or are you a sufferer living with another sufferer?
If you are the sufferer tell your supporter what you want. Do not wait until you are in the middle of an attack. Do not expect the supporter to know when the attack is coming on.
If you are the supporter ask what you can do to help. Do not wait until he/she is in the middle of an attack to do the asking.

I'm sorry you're going through this pain. As BobG suggests, talk to your supporter when you're NOT in pain and ask him to do the things you need him to do while in an attack.
Bring him to this website so that he can learn about your headaches and what supporters do. Most supporters are able to tell when their sufferers are about to get hit (sometimes even before THEY know) and are able to take appropriate action.
Please have him visit the Family Services Team at the OUCH Website if he's needing help.
Are YOU getting the medical help you need from a cluster knowledgeable neuro? What meds are you on? Are you trying oxygen as an abortive? You mention that you're on a preventative. Which one?
Please keep talking - it can only help.

I told G she should have posted that in the subhooters forum....uh ...of course I wouldn't have seen it there.
Proof that some people do attempt to type as a Cluster approachs....I thought she was doin it to disguise her idenTITy..... her cover is blown.
SO...here's the skinny...we have been sharing a cell for a few months.
I have been CH free for over a year now thanks to VERA.
She has been hiding her headaches. She never lived with anyone since they began and felt a compulsion to try and hide the "horror" of them from everyone...including me....as y'all know that's impossible in the same house. ...She has never seen one of mine!! No way I hide anything! Butt neked jumpin jacks with an O2 mask on! After I read her cryptic post I asked her what the deal was.
As her headaches approached she would get quiet and withdrawn...I figgered it was just moody "chick" shit. And since I didn't have a clue she was getting a headache I would just ignore her or be a smart ass.
BUTT now ....she has agreed to tell me...duh! So now I can be Mr. sweet, supportive, back rubbin or get the hell out of the way Den.
Good grief....and in public too.
