What does eveyone do or look forward to doing during pain free period? This is important to me b/c I'm not going back to my old life this time. Never again. My life then: wake up, jog 7-10 kilos, weight training for 4 hours, reading. That's was it, my whole life. I plan on enjoying life a little more this time around. Why I didn't learn to do this in 13 years is a mystery to me. My plans : No more diet. no 3-1 protein. I'm going to eat whatever the hell I feel like everyday. If it's fast food 3 times a day so be it. :Cigs, gone. I know it's weak of me not to quit now but my nerves just won't handle it with clusters. Quitting for health and money to spend on enjoying life more. :No longer going to be the WORST father who ever lived! Time with my daughter, taking her out, enjoying life with her outside of this house. can't wait to buy her things, she wants a leather jacket : 100 billion caramelmochas per day intake! : flea markets! can't help it I'm a loser and you can find really cool stuff there more to be added anyone else have a list??? share!

Hey! Congrats on quitting the cig's!! (I was never a real smoker, but I like giving anyone who quits a big "atta-boy" or "atta-girl"!!) Yes, I'm looking forward to "getting back to normal" around my house and spending more time with the family. I have 2 daughters (ages 7 and 1) and a son (age 4), and of course a very loving and supportive wife. We're gonna visit a pumpkin patch, take them to a "Fall Fest" at church, and let them jump into a few piles of leaves Of course, having a cycle that lasted 5 weeks helped my "honey-do" list get a little longer, but that's OK!! I'm just grateful that I didn't miss much work and was able to at least get SOME work done during that time. Enjoy your PFD's! Blessings and regards to all! StanTheMan

I don't really change my life during cycle. My cycles last 3 to 5 months usually. But I do enjoy it more when out of cycle. It is better going out and knowing I'm NOT going to get hit, instead of the other way around. Sherry

Let's see, since most of my cycle is spent laid up in the house doing absolutely as little as possible b/c if I'm not having an attack I'm trying to recuperate from it......I actually ENJOY when I can finally get back to doing dishes, cooking, laundry......UGH I said it It just feels so great when they're gone that anything goes....... So to answer you......what do I do: watch tv, go outside, go back to bowling, watch a movie, eat out, take the kids shopping, go to church, cook, clean, eat (of course), talk on the phone again (another fun habit) listen to music, read, (WOW, I love that too) visit a friend, call my mom or sis on the phone another time, go to a football game, volunteer again (that takes up lots of my time).......get the picture?? It's called LIVE again, but PF this time EDNA

First you go to Applebee's (do they have Applebee's in Canada?) and have Oriental Chicken Salad with extra dressing. Then go to Tony Roma's and have a rack of BBQ Carolina Honeys ribs. Then go to OutBack for a porterhouse steak and a Bloomin' Onion. Then stop by Baskins-Robbins for a Banana Royal. Tomorrow, repeat.

Bob really likes the hospital food too that he often has a chance to sample after each similar day. Charlie

What pain free period? No such luck for me. All my waking hours are spent rocking and rolling and dancing my feet off. I would do anything for a day off. If I had one I would just spend the day in prayer thanking God for his mercy for that day.
