I just noticed something about the draft of the new IHS guidelines for Chronic CH http://216.25.100.131/ihscommon/classifications/pdf/03_cluster.pdf Description: Attacks occur for more than one year without remission or with remissions lasting less than one month. Of course this draft is not the official guidelines, but it does seem as though this is the criteria that will be used in the future. Wonder how many more ppl might be classified as chronic under the new guidelines. PFDAN...................... Drk^Angel PS... I've been talking about these new guidelines for months, you'd think I would've notice this before now... LOL DA

That would put me at chronic for 18 of the 20 years of clusters, rather then just the past 3. Wait, is there a grandfather clause on this? Some meds work better for chronics than episodics and vice versa. Probably something that should be taken into consideration before changing the definition, although hopefully they have considered that.

But Ted, I'm pretty sure that one of my Grandfathers had CH's, so if there is a clause it just might apply to me Marc
