This is great, I have found more info in the last 30 Minutes than I discovered in the twenty years I have been dealing with this. Time to take some meds.

I know how you feel. I've been in remission for many years but I checked out these people and I got hooked. We all have something to contribute and I too learned a ton of stuff here. I found that unfortunately, I had more company than I'd hope for this horror. Stick around and let us know how you're doing. Charlie

Thanks for all the replies, 2late asked for some background, I started having these things around 1982, I was in the army at the time and everytime I saw a doctor they told me it was sinus headaches (thats the army for you) I was going thru the episodes about 2 times a year. I finally saw a neurologist and started the long and varied road of meds. About 8 years ago the episodes went to about once a year, then they slowly subsided. I have been free for 3-4 years now, until 2 weeks ago and they came back with a vengence. last night was hell still have the one that started 10:30 pm. and about went nuts at 2:00am not bad now just still there. From reading the board theres a number of people been dealing with this longer than I have. again thanks everyone...gcb

Damn LT, I was going to ask the same thing. Do they issue them in bootcamp and we just missed the fine print. Mine didn't start till I joined.

Curtisdcs, This probably has more to do with your age, most people join the service (18-22) in the prime time for these things to start. although I would like to see a survey of how many people started this little tango while they were in the service..... Side note my twin brother started having these about the same time, however he's been PF for about 10 years now.
