Kiss   DOING GREAT

Thank you ken, and Barb, (sorry I missed your call...really tired from no sleep during the storm and slept in today)

What a group here..........glad to see someone cared enough to worry........warms my heart since I was TRULY scared out of my wits when there was a moment that we thought we'd get a direct hit from Hurricane Lily.

Had a few of my family evacuate and stay here with us.....makes for craziness in the household  (LOL)

We spent the night up listening to the radio, after the tv went out, making sure where the storm was headed, (have to confess, we did have a generator running us the AC)

All's well with my property except for a few missing shingles on the roof that need repairing now, and many of our trees in the yard needed reinforcing to hold them back up from ground level......the bayou behind the house is way over the bulkhead (land) and will take quite a few days to recede but not near flooding our home.

Many neighboring towns in Houma are flooded extensively......very sad

This one was a real scare for me........sorry didn't post earlier but had much to do around the house......and power was out for a while......didn't want to burn up the generator so had to conserve you know.......lol........really wanted to keep phone lines open for family members to get in touch with one another so didn't want to be busy on puter.

AND.........today had to head out to airport to bring my husband for his flight back to Florida where he was at work.........they flew him home at the threat of the storm heading this way.......HOW CONSIDERATE EH......some companies do still act with human kindness............

AT least I was happy........and less stressed not to have to face this alone.

So thank you once again for caring, and glad to be back!

Hugs,
EDNA (needabuddy)
