Anyone know of a good Doc in Kansas?

I gotta find myself a new doc, the one I have is getting to be a real pain in the ass. I've had this Doc for over a year now, and she's been great, for the most part. She at least knew what clusterheadaches were when I saw her last year about my ER visit a few nights earlier, but I'm beginning to get really dissapointed in her lack of taking the problem as serious as I do. She doesn't like to take any kind of chances with medications- no abortive prescribed since I have by own little abortive therapy I have been succesful with, and what preventatives she's given me might as well have not been given at all. Example- I suggested Verapamil. Her idea of therapuetic dose? 20mg a day to start with, then see how it affects my already low blood pressure. See the problem??? I'd like to find a doc around the Wichita, Ks area that has a clue about CH and isn't afraid to try to treat them. Anybody around this area know of a good one?

Oh! I'm sorry! When we were first introduced, I forgot to mention that I am an arrogant, opinionated ass-hole, but I do thank you for noticing!!

Have you tried the Headache and Pain Center in Kansas City? I think that's what it's called - my mom lives in KC and I considered making an appointment but they are not on my Network (insurance). Good luck and keep us posted okay? susieQ
