Howdy all,
Well, lets see...we had appt with Doc (GP) and he has given me over to a Neuro....had that appt today and we start Topamax tonite.  25mg for a week, then 50mg for a week then 75 for 2 weeks.  Next appt 4 weeks. Ch are kinda different in that they seem to have changed in severity but increased in duration per episode.  Now down to about KIP 5 or 6 most of the time.  Except for tonite (sigh) This one rocked the scale.... I now know why everyone calls it the "beast". I had always thought it was just the pain...till I saw my eyes in the mirror!  WOW!   I am still on Imitrex but he wants me off of the vicodin for fear of rebound headaches.  He's not sure they are cluster yet...but I am (grin).  Funny though, he was parting words were "we are going to treat it as a cluster"  Go figure!....(chuckle)

For all those that suffers these day in and day out...I am a whimp.  I cant imagine what life has been for you folks...but you have my sympathy. I am still hoping this are going to end soon.  Got about another week of the 2 months left...and I am still prayin. Smiley

Read the stuff on Topamax and will definitely keep me wits about me with this stuff. Already clued the wife in on the side effects to watch for.  Wish me luck, guys.
