What is mushromm theraphy?

I am new to this site , but not to cluster headaches.
I have been dealing with them for 22 years. The only relief I get is from Imitrex. I have tried many "remedies"
and I would like to learn more about mushroom theraphy.
Can anyone offer me some advice and or direct me to a site where I can research this?
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dave, research THIS site. Go back to the  introduction page and try the search facility.

Shroom using clusterheads  have been regularly posting about their experices. There was a thread last week, I believe, in Medications etc. Good luck.

Mushroom therapy is, of course, the use of psilocybin mushrooms as a long term preventative.  Other indole-ring hallucinogens (including LSD) are also effective. The success rate is very good -- perhaps 80 to 90 percent. The main "side" effect  is a psychedelic experience, but this can be minimized through careful planning and use. It is illegal, and not for everyone -- this is contraindicated for those suffering mental instability or serious feelings of insecurity.

There is lots of research to do before trying this. Here are some links:
General info --  http://www.a-dzign.com/shrooms/
(a major update and expansion of this information is underway, and will appear on another site sometime in the foreseeable future)

And, as Ave said, folks discussing this treatment on this message board usually post in the "medications, treatments and therapies" section.
