Well family I have made two trips up to Syracuse, NY to the VA Medical Center. Today they but me on either Civamide or placebo and they don't know which and either do I. Its a nasal spray used in one nostril 2x a day. Next Friday I go back up to Syracuse with my diary. A day log book of day, time of day when the headache started and when it stopped and all the meds I used to treat the headache.

Theresa Dean is going to be looking at this web site. She is the one I report in to and has been a big help in helping me with this program.

God Bless, TerryS

Good luck Terry.  I pray you will get something that helps you and not a placebo or even worse if it is medicine and it doesn't work.  Let us know how it goes and If you find out you got the medicine let us know what you think of it.  thanks.

Terry - I am in the same program at the San Francisco Clinical Research Center.  But, I got in a little too late.  I am in remission after almost 8 months.  As I'm sure you know, you need to have three days of full blown headaches (shadows don't count) before they give you the Civamide or placebo, and I would have two days, but not the third....BUT, luckily I have now gone three weeks without even a shadow!!!  Good luck - I'll be waiting to see if it works.
