My best friend is now gone...

For those of you that know me and know what I've been dealing with, I just want to let you know that my dear sister Pat, passed away last night at 10:40 pm. I am so sad for the loss but thankful that she is no longer suffering. She has been battling cancer for 5 years now and lost the fight. And fight she did. She never let anything stop her. I know I would never have her strength or courage to go through what she did. I am very sad and miss her terribly. She was a brave woman. Please pray for my family. BarbaraG

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You and your sister fought this battle together. You are a strong and brave lady as was Pat. Although she is in a better place it is still hard and it is difficult to think about that right now. My heart goes out to you. I will keep you in my thought and prayers. Please remember that you have support here and you are loved and cared for by your friends.

Pat was special to me in so many ways....I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking with her serverl times. She will always have a special place in my heart. Could you please E-Mail me the time and place of the service. I would very much like to be there.
Words can not begin to tell you how much of a impact your sister had on me. I am so very sorry .
I know Pat was at peace with God and I know she is no longer in pain. I also know Pat loved you very much. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Not sorry for her, that now has retrieved all the good things of her life. Now she's happy, and will keep an eye on you and your family.

so sorry to hear that your sis passed away, but now she is at peace, you both fought hard through all this and you were both very brave, her peace is now your peace. You will have the strength to get through these sad times as you showed that strength whilst she was sick.
Now is the time you should rest and remember everything good about her and your life together as sisters.

Wanted to add my condolences as well....I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I never feel sorry for the one who has moved onto a better place- it's always those they leave behind, to deal with life without them. I hope you have wonderful memories of great times with your sis- they will comfort you while you get used to life without her....and please remember- she will always be with you- just close your eyes.

Barb, I am so sorry for your loss, I know how you feel. You and your sister were very lucky to have these last times together to talk and to share and to wrap things up. I wasn't so lucky with my mom. My thoughts are with you, and just remember, she will always be with you and you will meet again someday. Right now she is pain free and learning all about the best things!
