New Drug for Headaches

There is a new drug called Topiramate that they
are giving to people who have migraines.Maybe it
can work for CH.Go to www.cnn.com and go to
health and then new hope for migraines.Let me know
what you think about this drug

Topiramate is Topomax.
A lot of people have tried it here. Some with some success, a lot without success. I'm one of the no success ones.
Do a search for Topomax.

Hi - add me to the "no success" list also - was on it just recently - no effect whatsoever on the CH, but sure spaced me out really BAD. I took myself off from it and my neuro agreed. However, this is NOT to say some people haven't been helped by it. Good luck - Jim R

I tried it at 200 mg for a year in a half and it did nothing for my clusters or migraines. I latter tried it at 600mg and it did nothing for me at that dose either. It did feel like it was making my ha more intense. good luck.
