My trip started off at 4:30 am Thursday morning. I went to the airport and there I met Bama (Jane Phillips) . Jane and I had talked for two years on the phone and only live two hours from her. We will see much more of each other now I am sure. Bama being with me made the plan ride go by faster. Babma gave me the nicest bracelet it has JD initials on it. We had no problem till we reached Vancouver.. When we got to Vancouver, we went to get our luggage! When I turned around Bama was nowhere to be found, I waited and waited couldn’t find her so I flowed the crowed. I did not even have the name of the hotel in my bags and was getting a little scarde. I had Mike and Margi’s cell number so I headed for the phones. I saw Bama about that time doing jumping jacks outside through the window trying to get my attention. So now we are off to the hotel. We get on the shuttle bus. We get to the motel and Bama checks in…Margi walks through the door... and there she and I are crying and hugging in the lobby. After four years we finally met I was rooming with Linda Howell so I could not get in our room till Linda gets there so I go to Margi and Mikes room. We swap gifts. Margi got me a cup that has our picture on it and says twisted sisters. I had my coffee in that cup today made my coffee taste so much better! Then we went looking for others. Bonnie now that woman worked she is still just as sweet and wonderful as last year. We all headed to Tracys job. There we raped the store of chips and pop for the hospitality room. You all should met Tracy she was always there with a smile and a helping hand.Wonderful wonderful lady. They came one by one each one I met was just so exciting. I finally was able to get in the room with Linda. Linda is a story all in its self. I will post about her separate. Everyone kind of grouped up and went in separate ways Friday. Linda and I hit the stores. Then Linda and I went back to the room and made up little survival bags to give out. Then we went to the courtyard and had a coke and smoke. DJ comes and gets us we go to the lobby and there he is Jonny and all his hair !!! We all did our hugging. His room wasn’t ready yet so he stored his stuff in DJs room. They told Linda and I they would be right back. They never came back. They stood us up…story of my life LOL!! They headed to the hospitality room. They had forgotten usL! We spent the rest of the day meeting people as they came in. That night we spent in the courtyard. There was so many there. Dave E and his wife. They were just lovely people. Dave he was so tired, but he was also like me over joyed to met everyone that came. His wife was very charming and full of life. Barbara G, Judy W, Mary D, Scott W and his wife. Debbie and Bill L. (two funny and warm hearted people) There was Mel and Michelle. Michelle runs HSG and to hug her neck was so wonderful…she was just like I knew she would be wonderful. Paula was there she was like a ray of sunshine. She just glows when you talk with her. Its just so hard to mention everyone. Ricardo was there. I did not get to met all the Italians until Saturday. I was being a good girl. I went to bed every night at 10:30 pm so I would be able to get up and enjoy the days. I was unable to go to the first half of the convention on Saturday. I did make it for Doug W’s speech . He did a great job. (Why I was not there for the other will be explained in another post. I did get to visit with Piera a lady that I love a lot and that is very special to me. Saturday night came the dinner. I was Jonnys date for Dinner. We were both dressed in black. We went to supper with Margi Mike and Linda we all road together. Now you talking about some looks from outside people Jonny and I got some looks LOL!!! It was nice dinner. I had stuck to salads all week and that night I had a nice hot dinner, ice cream and cake. We had door prizes and Bonnie and Tracy and Margi were thanked for all the hard work they did. After dinner I met a lovly man named Michael. He lurks. He and I met back at the bar at the hotel and talked a while. Very very lovely man. There were a lot of lurkers there. If you all think we are not being watched think again. Sunday was golf. I made it to the forth hole…I had not got hit all week end..it was very cold and windy and I think that set it off. My pocket book was in Bonnies truck but Margi had a zome I took it but went back to the club house and DJ took my place that was a good thing for our team the twisted sisters. Now DJ and Linda are in the twisted sisters club. The rest of the day was spent just hanging around and talking. I was able to visit more with Bob P a little. Telling him good-bye was a hard thing. There was only about 2 hours sleep Sunday night. Saying good buy was the hardest thing. Margi and Mike was going to take us to the airport but it rained and we took the shuttle. Margi and I said good by. The tears came but we pushed them back. But as I write this I can’t push them back now. I am glade to be home with my family but I do miss all of you so much. Each gathering just gets better..Bonnie Margi and Tracy did a wonderful job!!! Thanks guys for a wonderful time.

Occasinally life is very good to us. Sometimes it takes extreme pain for us to find the valued places we need to be. That is the value of pain. Sounds as if you you found that place in life up in Vancouver. That place will never leave you now. You will always own that place somewhere in your heart and can visit at any time. You've earned and deserve finding that place. Happy tears and all. Happy for ya E! (you didn't happen to inform those hockey players up there that they need windmills and plastic gorrillas on their golf courses did you?)
