Does music or a certain song help you get through

Sometimes when im getting really discouraged about life and cluster headaches I listen to the creed song weathered and it makes me feel better. It think that song describes alll of us. You should listen to it. Ya I can already guess some of your responses saying that a song won't mean shit with cluster headaches but it can make me feel better.

Most times I crank up the loudest metal, helps keep me pacing and keeps my anger focused.
With surround sound it pisses off the people who live near me........LOL

listen to the lyrics if you get it. download it off kazza or something. Some of creeds songs really get to me. Hes a good artist to listen to in times of distress.

Of course I rarely listen to music anyway. I treasure silence most of the time. There are many epileptics that have extraordinary hearing and I'm one of them. I've gotten into this with CHers and there are many here who have very acute hearing as well.

Like you Jonny, light does not bother me at all and it really fucks up the docs and nurses at an ER when I tell them I don't care if they leave the lights on when the drugs are kicking in - they treat me like a meegrainer! Music I can take or leave - certainly doesn't bother me and doesn't help either, but if I want to distract at all, I might put some Zeppelin III on or something - probably wouldn't choose a Whole Lotta Love! LOL! Creed's good too - Weathered is a good CD IMHO. - Jim R

Depending on the pain level, I either crank the music to distract me, especially if I'm driving, and at other times, with kip 9-10's I've screamed blue murder for the cat walking across the carpet. Light doesn't bother me unless it's flashing lights, the runway lights bother me and oncoming headlights at night, but not just plain old light.

When I'm getting hit, I need the lights in the house turned on, but only the tube ones. For some reason, they help. I put on either Van Halen (with Sammy Hagar), Metallica or AC/DC. Something about the chainsaw guitars and hard drumming that appeals to me....

Back to the subject yes I have a special song which I posted the lyrics too a while back. Catlind had one too but it got lost in the crash. When evrything comes chrashing down it's good to listen to a favoriate song. Creed is pretty good but no one seems to understand the lyrics. A lot of peaple would freak if they found out they are Christian. I found a better mellow band call P.O.D.

Hello people. I used to put my speakers facing each other and my head right in the middle, crank up the metal and flopp around like a fish. Not too much of that anymore. Light has never seemed to bother me, loud noises either.
P.S. Creed is NOT a christian band. The singer/songwriter for the band, Scott Stapp, was raised in a very strict, christian home. ALOT of his songs are about the hypocrisy and irony of religion. The songs may have some religious overtones, but they are not christian.
