Just wanted to let y'all know that I'll prolly not be on very much, because my 'puter is out of order again. The processor fan quit, and all ya 'puter geeks know how bad that can be with a modern system. LOL Oh well... Hopefully I'll have the parts I need to get my system back in running condition soon. Until then, I'll prolly be able to get on for a little while at werk most days. Talk to y'allz l8rz!

Good news is... The processor might be salvageable. Won't know for sure 'til I get a new CPU heatsink/fan. Hoping to find one I can afford after werk. If not, then I'll have to mail order one, and wait forever for it to be delivered. Ain't 'puters fun? LOL

Ya know... If it ain't one thing... It's everything... I ordered the new heatsink/fan on Monday night, and supposedly the vendor I ordered from processes their orders same day or next day, and said they'd send an e-mail when it is processed and shipped. Lies... All lies... They didn't ship the damn thing 'til Thursday night, and the only reason why I know that is because UPS e-mailed me that I have a shipment enroute. OY! Now I have to wait 'til Monday to get my 'puter running. I'm crossing my fingers my processor is still good, because I'm really losin' my mind waitin' to get it runnin'.

The package has been sitting in a warehouse 20 - 30 miles away for the past 2 days, all because UPS only sends one truck from the warehouse to the town I live in once a day at 7am, and they don't deliver on Saturdays unless you pay extra...  So close yet so far... They better deliver it tomorrow, and not do the shit they normally do... Either claim they couldn't find the address or ring the doorbell once, stick the notice to the door, and drive off before my wife has time to get downstairs... C'est la vie...

Welp... I have a little over an hour left of werk before I find out if UPS decided to deliver the parts. Hopefully they have, and I'll have my 'puter back online in a couple of hours. Talk to y'all later (hopefully on my own 'puter for the first time in over a week).

I have my system back!!! The processor wasn't completely fried... But now I'm having some hardware issues, so I'm afriad the motherboard may have been a little damaged, but at least it's workin' for the most part...
