I dont understand why if they cut your trigeminal nerve it doesnt cure everyones headaches. Where else would the pain come from?

The operation only removes part of the tri geminal neve. It is known to regenerate. If all the neve were removed it would end the pain. However you would have no use or control of that side of your head. Think about that. Complete removal is not done. Don't even think about it. Steve

Removing the whole nerve? Have you looked at a representation of where that nerve goes, recently? I suggest you do. I don't think you'd find a surgeon with the nerve to take that whole nerve out.
