Day with new doctor

Had my first visit with new doc. today. I was at least impressed that she knew alot about ch and the research that is bring done. She has put me on sancert and verapimil, as I decrease the sancert I up the verapimil. Have an appt for a sleep test and botox injections. I feel like I may be on the right track now. At least she listened to my complaints and tried to understand the pain I am going through. Her final diag. was that I am chronic ch. Maybe better days are ahead.

It's always a bonus when the dr actually knows that CH's exist. You're a step ahead of the curve in this regard. Hope the med combo works for you. Good luck!

I forgot to mention that while she was talking to me she also had 5 medical students in the room to, she was teaching them about ch at the same time. Maybe there is some hope that more doc. will learn about this ailment .

Better days are ahead Mustang. Thankfully you have a doc that understands CH's now and that is a start. Just keep trying different meds and see what works for you. PFDAN's to you.

Heck I was just thinking if the botox doesn't work , at least I might get rid of a wrinkle or two. ;D
