my mother was telling me about this kid who had a really painful form of cancer and to fight it he used visualisation, he pictured himself as a captain of a space ship and the cancer cells where asteroids and other enemy space ships and he would shoot them down, apparantly his terminal cancer went into remission, she suggested i try this ( she doesnt understand what the pain is like) i have tried to do this by invisioning myself on a mountain in wales where i sit crosslegged and its daylight ajnd the sun ahead is painfree and the moon behind me is the beast, and i try and make it daylight, i cant focus for very long as by now i am in full throws of yet again another ch but i can hold it for longer each time and it distracts from the pain just a little, the waves start to get further and further apart, and the undercurrent slowly dies away. has any one else heard of this and what is your method? if u havent tried this i know it probably wont wortk for anything but hey its free and as far as i am concerned anything is worth a shot kelly_dawn

Mind over matter ... its kind of like "redirecting the blood through thought" ...... Maybe God gave us bigger brains than we thought and we just ain't using them right !!!!! I know that positive thoughts bring positive things so keep trying !!! I'll give it a whirl the next time I need some help (thank the Lord I am getting a break right now).

Visualization therapy has been around for a bazillion years and is affective. To visualize your way through a CH attack would probably take years of practice and thousands of dollars in broken furniture.

Just in case, my circulatory technique, (can I be more self-centered?) I describe has nothing whatsoever to do with visualization or some feel-good, cosy stuff. It's physical, nothing else. If only Ueli would have some success. That would make a difference. Charlie
