hey friends, while in surgery for a broken leg on wed.i went in with a spinal tap an just local anetesia.so iwas in an out during surgery.then wouldn't u know it a cluster it of all things,the doctor almost stopped surgery because of the pain i was having...coulnt believe i was feeling anything from all drugs i was on...i always wanted to have cluster for once when i was full blown an a doctor actually could se the pain....they ended up puttting me all the way under so they could finish.i stayed the night with lotsof pain from surgery...an two more clusters that night...the nurses got to see thehole episode...there was plenty of imetrex on hand for me...they never seen anything like it they said...they are noe firm believers in cluster headaches an pain..... jerry.c

OMG, what a terrible ordeal to go through! I cannot even imagine the horrors of getting hit AND having a spinal tap at the same time! Thank goodness you made it through OK. You also just gave the doctors something a LOT of CH'ers would love, and that's a firsthand view to the suffering... Mel
