My older brother Anthony is Getting nailed big time and symptoms point to CH, I got him doing all the right things Doc wise (of course hes been told he has sinus probs, how many here have heard that one?) and what meds to start with. Also told him that going to a Doc and telling him whats wrong with you dont sit well with Docs, rude awaking for the Doc that cop's an attitude Tone's 6' 3" 250 lbs with a temper that makes me look gentle. One good thing, he went to the ER and the Doc there told him he had CH and gave him Lit on HA's which included a full page on CH and its symptoms.....Im looking into getting my hands on that. ....................jonny

That's sad news, jonny. Hoping and praying that it isn't something as bad as CH. Like the others said, we're all here for him.

I really hope this is a false alarm but if not: What a crime to have to welcome another clusterhead. the only good thing is that he has you and if he so desires us. I'm one who isn't all that convinced of a familial connection. Am I wrong? Hard to believe Rats anyway Charlie

This is not good, not good at all. Sure hope it's not CH. If he does have CH, at least he has a knowledgable brother to guide him.

Jonny.... Out of every Neurologist, General practioner, dentist, Chiroprator, and voodoo Doctor I ever saw................... I would trust your opinion over them all. If he does indeed have clusters, he's at least lucky to have you in his corner. Road warrior

Hope not, Jonny, but if it has to be, who better to have as a brother than one who can help like you can! Wishing him and you the best in this. - Jim R

Shit man. I saw the subject line of maybe having a new member to the family and then your opening phrase of "My older brother Anthony is Getting nailed big time" and thought maybe you were going to be an uncle. Hope it doesn't end up being clusters he's got.

Thanks Folks, Hes 41 and never complained about HA's but when he told me the pain was in one eye and he was being woken up an hour or two after laying down I thought the worst. GP says sinus and ER Doc says CH I tend to think the ER Doc would run across more CH'ers than the GP. Ill pump him for more info when I see him this weekend. Thanks!!! all of you. ..............jonny BTW: he hasent seen a Neuro yet so theres a chance it aint CH.

I'm surprised, and happy, an ER Doc would even suspect CH. I hope it isn't, I hope it's sinuses, but its good to hear an ER Doc might know something.

Jonny, I am so sorry to hear about your brother suffering weather it be clusters or not. My son also suffers from CH (eposodic) as do I (chronic) and I can say it has been very helpful for him to have my knowledge and experience in his corner. It has saved him lots of hours of suffering by me identifying it and having it confirmed asap and knowing what to say to drs. and meds to get him started on. Your brother is very blessed and fortunate to have you in his corner.

Sorry Jonny.......hope the ER doc is wrong I'm sure, after your years of hell with this bastard beast, your brother has observed your "dance" on more than one occasion. Bad way for someone you care about to really understand. Wouldn't wish it on anyone......well, maybe a few docs. Luck and PF to you and yours
