Summin good from the ER

hey all, I was in the ER....tore a tendon in my ankle (just call me Grace!)..anyway.. the ER doc aske me bout meds & all that crap & history...told her bout the CH..she seemed intrigued and just the slightest bit embarrassed that she was totally unfamiliar with them. Guess what?! She stayed over her shift & asked me all kinds of questions about recognising them, treatments..ect. We used a computer at the desk & I showed her CH.com..the archives, the msgs..all of it.. she was so impressed..and sad as well. She said she had heard of them but had never seen one & didnt realise the intense pain they cause. So at least there is 1 more doc out there willing to listen & learn..yayyyy!

I had a little ittie bittie poodle bite me on the acheles Tendon when I was working in this ladies home,
Sweet little Dog followed me around as I repaired mutiple items in her apartment and was like a little kid when I was replacing the dishwasher motor, on her modle you could leave the unit installed and lay on the floor, she never even growled at me, but when I reached for the door knob to leave the apartment,Wham, and that was the most painful thing I ever went through! Hope your a good healer, and I wish I could give you a big hug for sharing the info on clusterheadaches! Pappy

Sherri, Sorry about your ankle! I've done it myself. Unfortunately it was during a cycle. Probably looked pretty friggin stupid when I was doing the dance with a limp (In my walk that is) He He. ;D
