September 11, 2002 is soon approaching. On that day, please wear red, white and blue to work or school to show your support for those who lost their lives on 9~11~01 and to honor the heroes who worked to save them and the families left behind. At noon your time on September 11, 2002, no matter where you are or what you are doing, stop, put your hand on your heart, and say the Pledge of Allegiance out loud or to yourself and say a prayer for our nation. If all of us do this together in every time zone around the world, we will have a powerful chain of thoughts surrounding us. Please keep this going to your friends and family. By September 11, 2002 hopefully enough people will have read this and will join together in unity. God Bless the U.S.A.

Good idea. Every now and then, something brings me out of my little haze and reminds me just how awful this thing was. It's hard because this kind of thing, at this level, is new....come to think of it, not much other than WWII comes close. It was: So Damn Fast And So Damn Useless Charlie

Not only will I remember, I will cry, I will remind my children why their father has gone to war. I will remind myself of the deaths of all those in the attacks, and the deaths of all those fighting to prevent us from ever having to bear witness to such a heinous act again. Just like visiting Auschwitz (sp) is important as a reminder, so too will be remembering Sept. 11th. Cat

In no way do I wish to take anything away from those who lost their lives or the people who worked to help save them (or any of the ones who are left behind for that matter), but this would also be a good time to remember all the innocent afghan civilians who lost their lives in the war that followed the Sept. 11 atrocities. People who, just like the victims in the WTC, only wished to live in peace and happiness, but who had their already difficult lives destroyed by the evil doings of evil men. One world, one people.

If I can get my brakes fixed before then, I'm thinkin' of takin' a drive up to the Flight 93 crash site on 9/11. It's just over in the next county. Can't wait 'til they get the memorial built. PFDAN............................. Drk^Angel
