Is a job in it's self As I most always get the CH's after I go to sleep I tried this last night and it worked. Mind you I got two today but could just about cope with no meds. Ok here goes......... I use as many pillows as I can on the couch. I'm propped up really high and put an ice pack on THAT spot on the back of my neck. I never every lay flat down when I'm in the middle of an episdoe. So I guess I'll be sleeping on the couch for the next few months. The trouble with me is that I might have a couple of PF nights then go to bed and boom!!!! There I am sitting up holding my head and crying. Sighhhh It's 2:30 am and even with the pillow propup I'm still scared to go to sleep. Hope you all have a beast free night and day. gam

Just an idea: When I had these things, I'd sleep in my recliner. It would now and then give me a break. I'd have one less a night sometimes. Maybe you have the right idea. I hope you have a good one. Charlie

Hey Gam You might try what I do for the night one's I raise the head end of the bed about 8 in.s and it works about 90% of the time for me . Also sleep on the opposite side from the headache side . Use bricks , books. or whatever you got but try it for a week or more. Let me know if it works for you. Weldon

It's getting light, and the birds are beginin to sing, come to think about it I wish they'd be quiet. LOL. I've taken some OTC meds with codine in them. I know codine can cause headaches and are really not much good but at least I feel like I'm doing something. I hope I can get into see the doc tomorrow aafteernoon. Hope you all had a PF night. gam

Dave always takes an imatrex pill before he goes to sleep so that by the time he gets to REM sleep it is in his system makes the attacks tollerable, (IM sure your sick of me telling that tale) He also props himself up with as many pillows as he can steal from around the house. Good luck... love ree
